From the very first time that a Wilton Yearbook fell into my hands at the age of 16, I knew that I wanted to decorate cakes. But life took some unexpected twists and turns, and before I knew it, I’d become a wife, mother and…accountant! But I never abandoned my love for baking, baking at night and on the weekends for friends, family, or just because. In 2009, after – finally! – taking the complete Wilton Method course, I founded Cozy Cub Cakes.
I don’t have any special culinary expertise or training, other than what I mentioned above. My cakes have not been featured in any magazine. I’ve not appeared on television, nor have I baked for anyone rich or famous. My greatest “claim-to-baking-fame” is being one of 12 winners of a Duncan Hines baking contest in 2012.
If the other stuff never happens, I’m okay with that. I do this for the love of the bake. I’m passionate about delivering the best-tasting, prettiest cake or desserts you’ve ever had at any of your events that fits within your budget.
